Stewart James

Stewart specialises in providing advice on information law. He has over 18 years' experience supporting clients on a range of commercial and technology contracts, both domestically and internationally. Stewart has been involved in some of the largest technology projects undertaken by the UK government, and he was responsible for drafting the Model ICT Services Agreement used in the public sector for the procurement of technology for over ten years.

Stewart has lectured on contract law for the Defence Acquisition Management MSc at Cranfield University (Shrivenham) and on legal issues relating to cybersecurity at the Defence Academy. He is also the legal adviser to the Experimentation in Socio-Technical & Cyber (ExSoTeC) Systems Laboratory at Cranfield University.

Prior to qualification as a lawyer, Stewart served as an officer in the Parachute Regiment.
