I am a Partner and Head of Immigration at Stone King LLP.
I work advising all types of organisations on immigration matters. From businesses to charities, small tech start-ups to large multinational organisations. I advise on a range of sponsorship issues, for employers with Skilled worker matters, to education providers with Student Sponsorship needs.
I am heavily involved in organisations affected by shortage roles - from tech companies to education providers.
I have a particular interest and expertise in supporting religious organisations in the movement of their people across Europe and Internationally with both Minister of Religion visas and Religious worker visas. I have developed a very specialised practice working with faith based organisations and assisting and advising on the intricacies of the movement of Religious personnel whether it be for a permanent move, or on shorter term assignments or holidays.
I support individuals and families in obtaining visas to come to the UK for work related reasons (entrepreneurs, investors, Skilled Worker) and remaining in the UK for family or other reasons.
I have worked in a number of organisations – from a specialist civil litigation firm, to heading the Immigration department at the Royal College of Nursing. I have a keen interest in policy issues – and have successfully lobbied the UKVI to amend the Shortage Occupation list whilst at the RCN.
Having previously held the post of Chief Executive of a national charity, I understand the workings of the charity sector.
I speak regularly at conferences and seminars on all things immigration. I am a Trustee of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association (ILPA).
