Sam Tacey

Sam Tacey is a special counsel in the insurance group at Cooley (UK) LLP. He focuses his practice on complex insurance and reinsurance disputes, acting for policyholders, insurers and reinsurers. He has been involved in a wide variety of matters in arbitration (including Bermuda Form arbitration) and in litigation (including in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court). Sam’s practice also includes advising clients on the structure of their insurance programmes and supporting Insurtech start-ups with regulatory and general advice.
