Doug Huggins , FIA
Doug started as an actuarial trainee in 1987, when DB schemes had surpluses and personal pensions were just about to be launched. He qualified as an actuary in 1993 and became a scheme actuary in due course. Since 2007 he has worked as a research and technical support actuary and now leads the technical team at First Actuarial. He has served as a Principal Examiner and organised CPD events for the IFoA.
