Release of relevant institutional documents Since the Brazilian Competition Law took effect in 2012, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) has prioritised deeper institutionalisation by publishing guidance, including on gun‑jumping, merger remedies and the appraisal of horizontal mergers.
