PRACTICE NOTES
This Practice Note offers hands-on guidance on the principal legal issues linked to making podcasts. It covers: what a podcast is; the intellectual property (IP) rights that subsist in a podcast; other regulatory and legal matters affecting podcasts; and key issues in podcast agreements.

widespread smartphone use, making it simple to stream and download podcasts
lower barriers to entry than traditional media, enabling creators to swiftly test, develop and produce new podcast formats
