Latest developments

On 24 April 2018, the Commission adopted an infringement decision and levied a €124.5m fine on Altice. The Commission found that Altice implemented the takeover of PT Portugal before notifying or securing approval from the Commission under the eu merger Regulation, breaching Articles 4(1) and 7(1) of that Regulation.
