This Practice Note is designed chiefly for brands and businesses planning to work with influencers for social marketing campaigns and advertising promotions in Spain.

The nature of social media influencers

Influencers offer companies and brands a compelling route to showcase products or services. Through expansive channels such as their social networks and media platforms, they provide notable visibility and harness the closeness they build with end-users. Many have audiences of thousands, even millions, whom they sway through their style of communication, the way they frame messages, and the content they create. Consequently, they are a highly potent marketing tool, enabling brands to reach prospective clients more quickly and directly than long-standing channels like television, radio or static advertising.
