The scope of a claim in the small claims track

Claims on the small claims track are described as ‘small claims’. This track is intended for claims worth under £10,000. Proceedings in the small claims track are governed by CPR 27 and CPR PD 27A. This Practice Note This Practice Note reviews mechanisms used in settling litigation. A Tomlin order consists of a consent order paired with a schedule. It operates to stay proceedings on terms that have been agreed. The provisions contained in the schedule may remain confidential.
