Latest developments

On 20 August 2024, the CMA confirmed it had accepted a variation to the commitments previously accepted in November 2023. This change introduces an option to exclude certain ad data from all advertisers from being used by Meta in Facebook Marketplace. Under this approach, advertisers would still be able to place ads on Facebook Marketplace.
