On 27 September 2022, the CMA delivered an infringement decision concluding that Elite and JD Sports violated the Chapter I prohibition by operating an unlawful price-fixing arrangement on selected Rangers Football Club-branded apparel between September 2018 and July 2019. Rangers FC also participated in the collusion, but solely in relation to setting the retail price of adult home short‑sleeved replica shirts from September 2018 until mid‑November 2018.
