Football DataCo (FD) manages the data rights of the professional football leagues, granting licences to Third parties to reproduce specified IP—such as Fixture lists and statistics—owned by the UK’s three professional football leagues. FD, alongside the English and Scottish Football leagues, brought a series of actions against sports data, pools and betting companies that made fixture list details available to their users, including for betting services and online information services.
