LLET meaning

Published by a LexisNexis Energy expert

Usage is broadly consistent across the UK and Ireland, with differing regulatory instruments: - England and Wales: Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 (Environment Agency/Natural Resources Wales). - Scotland: Environmental Authorisations (Scotland) Regulations 2018 and Controlled Activities Regulations (SEPA). - Northern Ireland: PPC/Industrial Emissions Regulations and the Water (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 (NIEA); RSA 1993 as amended for radioactive substances. - Ireland: EPA licensing under the EPA Acts and Waste Water Discharge (Authorisation) Regulations; radiological licensing under the Radiological Protection Acts (EPA/ORP).
