Cross border criminal investigations

Extradition Act 2003 (Amendment to Designations) Order 2025 SI 2025/1195: This instrument amends the Extradition Act 2003 (Designation of Part 2 Territories) Order 2003, SI 2003/3334, to reclassify Chile—presently listed as Category B—as a Category A territory for the purposes of Part 2 of the Extradition Act 2003 (EA 2003). It also removes the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Zimbabwe from the Part 2 Order, so that each is now no longer designated as a Part 2 territory...

This Practice Note This Practice Note reviews mechanisms used in settling litigation. A Tomlin order consists of a consent order paired with a schedule. It operates to stay proceedings on terms that have been agreed. The provisions contained in the schedule may remain confidential. This Practice Note describes the scope of confidentiality attaching to the schedule and sets out how it differs from a standard consent order. Sample wording for a Tomlin order is included, alongside links to precedents, as well as guidance on court approval.
