State aid

Under EU State aid rules, the Commission cleared an amendment to a Czech scheme supporting greener, more efficient district heating largely based on renewable energy—see further, Midday Express.
The Commission found that Belgium’s authorisation allowing Ladbrokes to provide virtual betting does not amount to State aid within EU rules—see further, Midday Express.
