Background

On 15 March 2021, the Commission adopted a decision extending, in the Czech Republic, the frequency usage rights of certain network operators for the broadcasting of DTT licences until 31 December 2030. The operators concerned were ČRa, its wholly‑owned subsidiary CDG, ČT and DB (the Commission’s 2021 decision). The relevant DTT licences were otherwise due to expire on 11 May 2021 (ČRa), 4 March 2022 (DB), 30 May 2023 (ČT) and 10 January 2024 (CDG), respectively...
