Trade in goods

The Department for Business and Trade has released a new Trade Strategy setting out actions to unlock £5bn for UK companies and raise UK Export Finance’s capacity to £80bn. Announced on 25 June 2025, the plan targets improved market access, stronger trade defences and faster, more tailored agreements to drive growth and shield key industries. It operates to stay proceedings on terms that have been agreed. The provisions contained in the schedule may remain confidential.
