The CPRC approved the minutes of the 1 December 2023 meeting (see News Analysis: Minutes of the CPR Committee meeting—1 December 2023), subject to minor amendments supplied to the secretariat outside the meeting. The following points arose which were not addressed under later agenda items:

  • the Civil Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2024 and the 163rd PD Update, laid before Parliament on 1 February 2024, introduce amendments to core CPR, including changes to fixed recoverable costs (FRC)...
