New items we’re tracking this month

  • The UK Financial Intelligence Unit (UKFIU) is undertaking a full review of its guidance, with updates expected shortly to appear on UKFIU official social media channels. See: AML, CTF and counter-proliferation financing.
  • The ICO will release new guidance on managing data protection complaints in winter 2025/26, following new statutory requirements set out in DUAA 2025. See: Data protection, AI and cybersecurity.

This Practice Note This Practice Note reviews mechanisms used in settling litigation. A Tomlin order consists of a consent order paired with a schedule. It operates to stay proceedings on terms that have been agreed. The provisions contained in the schedule may remain confidential.
