Why is the CMA consulting?

The CMA is inviting views on the draft ‘Consumer Protection: Enforcement Guidance CMA58ii’ (‘Draft Guidance’), which sets out the consumer protection tools available to the CMA, and its stance on compliance with and enforcement of UK consumer law. Once finalised, this document will supersede the CMA58 guidance from 2016 (‘2016 Guidance’).
