In Octagon Overseas Ltd v Unsdorfer [2024] All ER (D) 62 (Jan), [2023] Lexis Citation 2492, the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) (the FTT) examined the applicant landlords’ application under section 75 of the Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA 2022) to determine the principal accountable person (AP) as defined by BSA 2022, s 72, concerning five higher-risk buildings (the buildings) within the Canary Riverside Estate (the Estate). The first respondent (SU) was the tribunal-appointed manager of the Estate under section 24 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 (LTA 1987).
