Renters’ Reform Act 2025 updates

Assured Tenancies (Private Rented Sector) (Written Statement of Terms etc and Information Sheet) (England) Regulations 2026 — SI 2026/324: This instrument prescribes the contents of the written statement of terms and other particulars to be provided for assured tenancies (excluding social housing assured tenancies) under section 16D of the Housing Act 1988, by setting out in the Schedule the mandatory terms and information. For existing tenancies within Schedule 6 to the RRA 2025, the required material is the current edition of ‘The Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet 2026’ issued by the Secretary of State. It operates to stay proceedings on terms that have been agreed. The provisions contained in the schedule may remain confidential.
