Insolvency Service publishes statistics for October to December 2023

The Insolvency Service has issued Q4 2023 data on personal and corporate insolvency. It records a 3% quarter-on-quarter rise in individual insolvencies versus Q3 2023, while debt relief orders (DROs) reached their highest volume since their launch in 2009. Company insolvencies were also 9% higher in Q4 2023 compared with Q3 2023. See: LNB News 30/01/2024 68.

This Practice Note This Practice Note reviews mechanisms used in settling litigation. A Tomlin order consists of a consent order paired with a schedule. It operates to stay proceedings on terms that have been agreed. The provisions contained in the schedule may remain confidential.
