Spring Budget 2024 date confirmed

HM Treasury has now announced that the Spring Budget 2024 is scheduled to take place on 6 March 2024.

Finance Bill 2024 update

Finance Bill 2024 passed the House of Commons Committee of the Whole House on 10 January 2024, and the Public Bill Committee on 16 January 2024. This Practice Note This Practice Note reviews mechanisms used in settling litigation. A Tomlin order consists of a consent order paired with a schedule. It operates to stay proceedings on terms that have been agreed. The provisions contained in the schedule may remain confidential. This Practice Note describes the scope of confidentiality attaching to the schedule and sets out how it differs from a standard consent order.
