We represent [ name of Tenant ] (the Tenant), your tenant under a lease dated [ date ] (the Lease). The Tenant proposes to assign the Lease and instructs us to seek consent under clause [ number ]. Please treat this as the Tenant’s formal application to assign to [ name of proposed assignee ] [ address ].

  • [ name of proposed guarantor(s) ] to act as guarantor[s]; we enclose [ references AND/OR company accounts ] for the proposed assignee [ and guarantor[s] ].
  • Proposed assignee to lodge a rent deposit of £[ amount ] equal to [ number ] months’ annual rent plus a VAT equivalent.
  • The Tenant to enter an authorised guarantee agreement in accordance with the Lease.
  • We will pay your reasonable legal costs, capped at £[ amount ] [ plus VAT ].
